Kasama Crinkles was founded by Luke Velasco, currently a Junior at The Hotchkiss School (Class of 2027), as a way to connect with his Filipino identity and culture. “Kasama” means "together" in Tagalog, the main language of the Philippines. From his Lola(means "grandma" in Tagalog"), Luke learned about Filipino culture and its unique flavors and desserts. The taste of ube brings back childhood memories. Luke wanted to share his Philippine culture and give back to communities in need at the same time. Luke inspires others around him to rally for a good cause and give back with Kasama Crinkles.
