Our Mission
At Kasama Crinkles, our mission is to create and sell delicious Asian-inspired cookies where the proceeds support families and children in need. We believe in the power of baking treats to bring people together and foster community spirit. Kasama Crinkles is a youth led 501 c3 non-profit organization.
About
Kasama Crinkles was founded by Luke Velasco, currently a Junior at The Hotchkiss School (Class of 2027), as a way to connect with his Filipino identity and culture. “Kasama” means "together" in Tagalog, the main language of the Philippines. The taste of ube brings back childhood memories with his Lola (means "grandma" in Tagalog"). From his Lola, Luke learned about Filipino culture and its unique flavors and desserts. Luke wanted to share his Philippine culture with not only local communities, but also to give back to the communities at the same time. Luke inspires others around him to rally for a good cause and give back with Kasama Crinkles.
Motto
"Kasama" means 'together" in Tagalog, the national language of the Philippines. The Motto of Kasama Crinkles: “Together we share” As a community, we can partner with others to share our Filipino culture, give back to one another and 'pay it' forward with acts of kindness.

Filipino-inspired cookies with a chewy, soft-baked center and a crunchy, crinkled exterior, thanks to a generous coating of powdered sugar, and feature the vibrant purple color and flavor of ube (purple yam).
